Claude Security Now Scans Repositories Continuously to Find Flaws and Track Fixes
Matched: Claude
Anthropic has updated Claude Security to continuously monitor connected code repositories rather than requiring manual scans. The tool tracks reported vulnerabilities after code changes, marks them resolved when fixes are detected, and reopens them if issues return. It supports GitHub, GitLab, and other Git providers, scanning multiple repositories per project to assess cross-service security relationships. New features include an API, webhooks, an MCP connector, and role-based access controls. The update is in public beta for Claude Enterprise customers.
A Hacker Tried to Turn an AI Chatbot Into a Tool for Attacking Other Servers
Matched: Artificial Intelligence
A honeypot investigation by Sekoia found an attacker attempting to weaponize Flowise, an open-source AI workflow platform, to attack other servers. The intruder queried credentials, tried creating malicious workflows with outbound HTTP requests, and sent prompt injection attempts to extract data and conduct reconnaissance. Prompts referenced an online gambling platform linked to Asia, suggesting a Chinese-speaking operator. No real systems were compromised, as the honeypot ran no live model or commands.
