We all tend to use a smartphone in our day-to-day lives now. In fact, you could argue that they are absolutely fundamental pieces of equipment that we would struggle to get by without. Another shocking fact about smartphones and cellphones is that they now outnumber the world’s population.
According to a 2019 study carried out by the United Nations, UN’s International Telecommunications Union (ITU), and the World Bank, there were over 10.53 billion mobile connections around the globe yet the total population of our world in 2022 is 7.9 billion – Simply put: there are 2.63 billion more cellphone connections than people worldwide.
Why is this? Well, they are perfect for entertainment, communication, and productivity. At least, these are some of the more common functions that we tend to use our mobile for. That being said, this doesn’t mean that they are the only functions your smartphone can have.
